OMG, someone is doing what they love, call the blog police!

So, Justin Guarini and Kimberley Locke are giving a concert tonight as part of the grand opening celebration of the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso. Predictably, TMZ.com (which stands for "this matters zilch") jumps on the news. This is followed by a number of other blog postings, mostly just TMZ news feeds or blogs run by fans of other Idols who somehow feel their own lives are made better by suggesting others are less than successful.

Hey, here's the thing: they love to sing. They love to perform. They get paid for doing both. It's a way better life than working for TMZ.com. When is the last time you made a crowd of people excited and happy that didn't involve you delivering pizza? Yeah, that's what we thought.

Everyone going tonight, enjoy.
